Happy Winter Solstice 2023

Happy Andean New Year, brothers and sisters! This solstice day is the shortest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. Like my ancestors, I am practicing this sacred tradition, greeting the sunrise and celebrating this important day by blowing the conch, offering a k'intu of three coca leaves, and blessing my misha.

My misha is a medicine bundle with gifts from the Pachamama , the Apus (spirits of the mountains), and from Mama Qocha (the spirit of Mother Sea.)

We send you the blessings of the Andean divinities. May this be a wonderful year for everyone.

Karupureq & Flamissia

Karupureq is a native Andean from the Apurimac region with over 20 years of experience in guiding tours of the mountains and mystic sites of Peru. As the grandson of a Andean native shaman, he is following the spiritual path of his ancestors,

Flamissia has dedicated her life to seeking ways to live in harmony with the Mother Earth, from raising her children on an organic farm to learning and practicing the spiritual paths of various traditions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, her Celtic pre-Christian ancestors and now the mystic path of the Andes.
