Follow an ancient Inca tradition

of pilgrimage to this sacred site.

Like today, people of the Inca Empire came from far and wide to experience the breath-taking magnificence of Machu Picchu.

Unlike today, this great citadel was once a sacred pilgrimage destination.

Few travelers realize that Machu Picchu is more than just a tourist site and relic of a distant past. Set upon deep layers of crystal rock and built around mysterious monolithic stones, this ancient spiritual site still radiates a palpable energy to this very day… If you know how to tune into it.

There is evidence that pilgrims traveled to this great spiritual center from the farthest regions of the Inca Empire, making prayers and offerings, and participating in ceremonies. While ceremonies are no longer permitted, we can guide you in practices that help you tune into and feel the indescribable peace that emanates from certain places of spiritual power.

Feel the sacred energy radiating from this famous “Crystal City.”

This architectural wonder of the world was intentionally placed right on a ley line: a vortex where the great kundalini energy of our Mother Earth, “Pachamama” connects to our own energy bodies.

Just like the energy meridians in traditional Chinese medicine and the chakras of India’s Ayurvedic wisdom, ancient Andean cultures also recognized these energy centers that constitute a fundamental part of our energetic body, and the energy body of our Pachamama. Called ñawis, meaning “eyes” in Quechua, the Inca perceived Mother Earth’s ñawi in the area they called “Q’osqo”, meaning “navel”, now known as the Cusco region.

There are those who say that the great kundalini energy of the Earth has migrated from the Himalayas of Tibet to this Cusco region of the Andes, bringing with it a shift from a masculine-dominant energy to a resurgence of feminine energy. In so doing, humanity is moving toward greater balance and harmony.

Mystic Machu Picchu Highlights

  • Intihuatana of Machu Picchu Mystic Tour

    Intihuatana

Intihuatana means “place where one ties the sun.” This work of genius was carved from a single stone with its corners aligned to the 4 cardinal directions. The shadow of the top pillar indicates the solstices and equinoxes. Merging science and spirituality, this energy-radiating rock was used as an astronomical observatory. When we put our hands close to it, we can feel a subtle energy emitting from this sacred stone.

  • The Sacred Rock

The Incas usually preserved large naturally occurring stones in the centers of their plazas, as they represented Mother Earth’s natural and untarnished state. This “Roca Sagrada” is a 3 meter high monolith shaped exactly like Apu Yanantin, which can be seen from the citadel. There is no evidence that it was carved this way: the Incas believed it was a reminder from the Creator to live in harmony with the Pachamama, connecting Earth and Sky.
